We don’t publish stories about the top ten island destinations of all time and we don’t do cute little sidebars featuring the newest wine bars and bistros of Paris. There are too many travel articles like that already.

Instead, Global Roam ink. publishes stories about real people with real travel adventures who are willing to talk about lessons they’ve learned on the road. There’s a reason for this.

At Global Roam ink., we believe that travel is a top-notch teacher.

Travel can teach tolerance, courage, literature, language, math, religion, history, geography. The list could go on and on. We know because we’ve traveled. A lot.

When we stop to add up the passport stamps of those working behind the scenes at Global Roam ink., we quickly reach the double digits and end up somewhere in the 30s. We’ve experienced first hand the transformative power of travel.

And we truly believe that if more people, especially young people, got out there, went beyond their borders, and experienced other cultures, they would make new friends, develop new understandings, discover new ways of being — and ultimately — make the world a better place, for it’s hard to drop bombs and harsh words when you know faces that call those foreign lands home.
